Who Set the Pallets on Fire? đ„
For our mid-week project, weâre taking a fun little turn with pallets. Most people I talk to ask me for ideas to build big furniture with pallets but the problem is: itâs rare to find enough matching pallets to complete a big project.
You might find one or two, and if youâre really lucky⊠maybe enough for a full project. But letâs be honest luck is not always on our side. đ
So this time, I wanted to create something small, fun, and practical that could bring a smile to a lunch, dinner, or coffee with friends all using just one pallet.

Inspired by a cute idea I saw online, I decided to recreate it in my own style: introducing small pallet coasters or as I like to call them, âbaby palletsâ. đȘ”â
These little coasters are perfect for:
Coffee or tea with friends
Protecting your table from spills and heat
Adding a fun, rustic touch to your dining area
How to Make Them
Select your pallet wood: Make sure itâs clean and sanded.
Cut the wood into small squares or rectangles, about the size of a drink coaster.
Assemble the pieces to mimic a pallet structure (slats on top, tiny supports underneath).
Sand, finish, or stain as desired to make them smooth and stylish.
And thatâs it your mini pallet coasters are ready to use!
Why I Love This Project
Itâs quick and simple, perfect for beginners
Uses recycled pallet wood, keeping your project eco-friendly
Makes a fun conversation starter at the table
Perfect as a DIY gift idea for friends and family
As usual, I hope this little project sparks some DIY inspiration. Itâs simple, funny, and perfect for anyone who loves recycling, pallets, and adding personality to their home.
