When sustainability meets creativity, remarkable projects come to life. At ATC Design, we believe that reclaimed materials deserve a second life, especially when they can be transformed into professional retail displays that attract attention while reducing environmental impact.
For this collaboration with Yves Rocher Antilles, our mission was to design and build a unique promotional structure for the launch of one of their latest skincare products at the Destreland Shopping Mall in Baie-Mahault, Guadeloupe.

The result? A beautiful display arch and an integrated selfie bench, handcrafted with approximately 80% reclaimed pallet wood, creating an inviting and eco-friendly customer experience.
Bringing a Product Launch to Life
Product launches are about much more than simply displaying a banner. They are about creating an experience that encourages visitors to stop, discover, interact, and remember the brand.
For this campaign, Yves Rocher Antilles wanted an elegant structure capable of showcasing a large promotional banner while reflecting its commitment to nature and sustainability.
Our solution was to build:
A custom wooden display arch measuring 1.80 meters high by 1.80 meters wide
A comfortable pallet wood bench where customers could sit
A dedicated photo spot encouraging shoppers to take selfies and share their experience on social media
A reusable installation designed for future events
The display became an attractive meeting point inside the shopping mall, naturally drawing visitors toward the Yves Rocher promotional area.
Built with 80% Reclaimed Pallet Wood
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was the extensive use of reclaimed pallet wood.

Instead of purchasing new timber, we carefully selected and restored pallet boards that would otherwise have ended up as waste.
This approach allowed us to:
Reduce construction waste
Lower the environmental footprint of the project
Preserve the authentic character of natural wood
Demonstrate that recycled materials can produce premium-quality retail displays
Each reclaimed board was cleaned, sanded, reinforced, and assembled into a professional structure capable of withstanding several promotional events.
The Selfie Bench: Encouraging Customer Interaction
Modern retail displays are no longer passive.
Customers enjoy interacting with brands, taking photos, and sharing memorable experiences online.
To support this, we created a custom wooden bench positioned directly in front of the promotional banner.
Visitors could comfortably sit, take pictures, and create lasting memories while naturally promoting the Yves Rocher campaign across their own social media platforms.
This simple addition transformed a traditional advertising display into an engaging marketing experience.
Designed for Destreland Shopping Mall
Located in Baie-Mahault, Guadeloupe, Destreland Shopping Mall welcomes thousands of visitors every week.
Because of this high foot traffic, visibility was essential.
The wooden arch framed the large promotional banner perfectly, while the natural wood finish contrasted beautifully with the colorful Yves Rocher graphics.
The installation created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encouraged shoppers to stop and discover the new product.
Materials Used
This project was built primarily from reclaimed materials, including:
Reclaimed pallet wood (approximately 80%)
Reinforced timber for structural support
Printed promotional banner
Wooden slats for the bench
Wooden base platform
Why Brands Are Choosing Sustainable Displays
More companies are looking for environmentally responsible ways to promote their products.
Using reclaimed wood offers numerous advantages:
Lower environmental impact
Reduced material waste
Unique handcrafted appearance
Excellent durability
Reusable event structures
Positive brand image
Supports circular economy initiatives
For companies like Yves Rocher, whose values already emphasize nature and botanical innovation, reclaimed wood creates a perfect visual connection between the brand and its environmental commitments.
A Collaboration Built Around Sustainability
We are proud to have collaborated once again with Yves Rocher Antilles on another eco-friendly project.

Working with brands that value sustainability motivates us to continue developing creative solutions using reclaimed materials whenever possible.
Every pallet that is reused instead of discarded represents one more step toward a greener future.
