Wood burning with a blow torch is a simple DIY technique that can completely transform ordinary wood into a striking, rustic material. By carefully applying heat to the surface of the wood, you can create darker tones, visible grain, texture and a unique charred effect. In my ATC workshop, I use a CFH blow torch with a propane/butane gas cartridge to create this type of finish on reclaimed wood and pallet wood. It is particularly effective when you want to give recycled timb
