Here's the dozens I've made so far. The boxes on the right are more books that need more crates. An empty crate for design analysis. End view The overall dimensions are 24" long x 12.5" high x 11" deep. Strong enough to hold books in normal upright position or turned 90* in transport position (below). I'm sure that sanding, squaring, gluing, & staining would help improve the appearance, but all 12 of these were all made "rough & quick" in 2 days before my last move.
